LSH Watery Discharge???

Hi- I am 31 and have no idea what to expect during this stage of my life....I had an LSH Monday, Feb 11 and having some serious watery vaginal discharge. Has anyone else experienced this?? I still have my cervix in place- no bleeding, just really watery discharge that sometimes looks yellowish and has some clots that come with it. Weird. And was wondering when I can expect to feel the menopause? I started hormone therapy yesterday with the vivelle-dot patch. I am extremely sore and in a lot of pain in my back and stomach. Any advice?

LSH Watery Discharge???

Tranquility,

I would call you Dr and ask about that discharge. It seems excessive to me.

Good Luck,

LSH Watery Discharge???

I can tell you that I had a watery discharge that started about 6 days post op of my TAH. I had to start wearing maxi pads it was so much. My surgeon examined me and said that the fluid was coming from my peritoneal cavity as he had left the top of my vaginal cuff open. He said that this can be sewn up or left open and both methods are good. Anyway, he said mine should have been closed by that time but said he suspected a small fistula might have formed and the fluid tracked in from there....I saw him again a week later and it had stopped.
He was initially worried it was from the bladder...so I had a cat scan and a dye test and xrays..but all that was fine. So I hope this helps you. I'd love to know if this is what your doctor finds.

LSH Watery Discharge???

Well went to the drs and he said that it is normal. That its a fluid coming from my cervix b/c he burned the top of the cervix or something like that and its drainage... that he will see me in a few weeks to see if it stops.

Now my question is how soon can I expect to feel the menopause symptoms come on?? I am on the Vivelle-dot and started that on post op day3. Havent really had any symptoms yet. However, earlier today I was overwhelmed by what I think was hot flash.
