Foul smelling discharge after

I'd call my Doctor, if it were me.

I had antibiotic drip as well.

Just a suggestion, and should not be in place of talking to your doctor, but eating yogurt can help get the good bugs back in your system and help with healthy gut and girl parts. When ever I have to take antibiotics I'll eat yogurt to try to avoid a yeast infection.

I had a fould smel for about 2 weeks after I went to the dr and it was the stitches starting to disolve now at week four I have a clear lighter discharge but the odor of the elephants at the zoo well that is gone! So for some the smell is normal I think I have a sensetive nose I felt as though the whole world could smell it but my DH barely noticed and I did shower 2x a day so I could stand to sleep with myself

Hello Ladies,

I did make it finally yesterday to see my reg. doc, couldn't get to my gyn's office weather wise.

And Thank you all for your advice and suggestions.
I do have a bad urinary track infection. She prescribed me an antibiotic and a pain pill (I've had urinary tract infections before a long time again) and surely do not remember being given a pain pill for them.

Thanks again,

Oh my gosh - asked the same question before.

I had a light brown discharge (clear) ---- and that OMG shut your legs smell for about 1 week.

It went away on it's own.

Had antimicrobial soap day before and of surgery - antibiotics in drip.

No douching tho.

I think it's fairly normal - unless you're running a fever or have an extreme amount of discharge.

But always be on the safe side and LISTEN to your INTUITION.

If you're thinking you might have an infection - then get it checked.

Good luck - and hang in there ---- For me it was awful the smell - I've never had much of a smell - which is good because I have a super sensitive nose --- and the DH told me that "THAT" was what normal women smelled like just a bit stronger...

I was like.... uhm.... honey ----- exactly WHAT kind of women were you with before? LOL!

Anyhow - a week later and I'm back to almost no odor.

Good luck.

OH - good - glad to know you had something - and they've given you antibiotics for it... Good deal!

Hope you feel much better! (and smell better too.... LOL! You just never realize how important smells are until you smell something that bothers you!)
