a really odd question out of curiousity re: TAH vs. TVH or LVH

I had a TLH and it did hurt to sneeze, laugh, and cough for a while. The little pillow-push against the belly helped tremendously. Keep in mind, the vaginal hyster-sister still has hundreds of little stitches inside where the 'parts' were taken out, the entire vaginal/abdomen area was stretched beyond belief to accommodate all the surgical procedure to occur, gas was used to enlarge the area AND we had at least three little 'button-hole' incisions at our belly button and lower abdomenal area.

The vaginal options to surgery are definitely less invasive than the whole outer abdomen incision entry, but it is still invasive none the less. It's just that we have fewer 'outside' reminders of it.

Best wishes on your recovery!
