Rectal spasms?

As it turns out, when I picked up my operative report from the hospital, I saw where the Dr. mentioned that they found and repaired what he called 'a significant rectocele'.
now, my bm's are anything but easy, this despite 4 peri-colace tabs and a ton of water daily. I awaken at night with these spasms that are very uncomfortable and cause irritation (down there). I am still on narcotic pain med, hydrocodone which is not as strong as the percocet.
I do not recall the percocet to be AS constipating as the vicodin and its just a matter of time before the ibuprofen starts burning my stomach linning..... I have always had IBS for years now.

What other pain meds are there that don't plug you up?

I would ask my doctor for substitution for something less constipating or something to take along with the pain meds so you will have less discomfort.
