ovary adhered to stomach lining

I feel like I shouldn't be having so much trouble as I'm almost 5 weeks post op but the last two days have felt like the first couple days after I got home from the hospital. Maybe I overdid it. I have tried not to lift or push or pull like the doctor ordered but idk. Anyway, during surgery the doctor found that my left ovary was kinda flipped over and adhered to my stomach. He said he had to remove it and patch up the stomach lining as best he could. Lately on that side it's been very tender. Maybe I'm noticing it because I've cut down on the pain pills lately but I wondered if anyone out there had a situation similar to this and if so...how are you doing so far? I don't want to make a big deal of it but my belly is back to being swollen and hurting again. The incision area is fine and doesn't bother me at all but theres an area that runs from side to side above and below my belly button (about 2" wide) that hurts and bothers me the most. Thanks for any info you may have!

Adhesions can be VERY painful. I'm not an MD but my experience with them has been terrible. I had my LSH (kept ovaries) because of scar tissue build up from 3 c-sections. 11 years after my last c-section I still would get severe pain when getting up to fast or moving in a jerking way. Someone told me that was scar tissue (adhesions) pulling away. I'm learning (from this web-site)that this is an ongoing thing.
