Elizabeth, I have passed several stitches and it has been just how you described it. Increased cramping until they pass and the it is done. I wonder when it will stop. My 6 week appt. is next week. That is one thing I will ask.

Have a good days ladies!

Thanks Terri,

for letting me know that at least someone else is experiencing this...I have been a little nervous since my fall thinking that I had hurt something but it sounds like I am on course...I also had work done to the vaginal wall, and that must be where the stitches are coming from.

Very interesting. I notice you both had your surgeries vaginally. I've had no such thing - but had the abdominal surgery. ????

Zephy, So glad to hear your good news. You give us hope that we too will be back to our old selves soon. I had a complete overhaul and reconstructive surgery....also, about a ft. long abdominal incision. I still get the twinges and catch-pain when I bend over. I'm happy to have made it this far...I'm definetely encouraged; I finally made a turn for the better a few days ago. Sending everyone blessings of healing. Pansy

Back to work!

Hey ladies!

I've come back from my doctor's office and my six-week check. I've been cleared to go back to work, and to have sex, and I don't have to go back to the doctor for a year.

Whoopee!

I will say this -- sometimes I thought I was being TOO careful during my initial recovery, but now I'm convinced I did the right thing. I only had one minor setback, and that was overdoing it over the Easter weekend, which led to a cold the next week, but I've learned from that.

Now I can go back to work and get PAID for sitting in front of a computer all day, rather than sitting in front of my own at home for almost nothing.

What a relief!

Good luck and blessings to all of you ladies -- I may not post often but you've all been a huge help to me over the last few months.

Anyone else have clear non-itchy discharge?

This is June, TAH on Feb 28, only have computer use
at work, so this is my first entry since the surgery.

Completed recovery week 5 O.K, back at the
office, but have definitely gone through a lot of different symptoms in the last few weeks.

First there was the pinched nerves, right arm and left leg
had a burning pain that would hit whenever I moved them a certain way. That subsided after 2 weeks, then a VERY itchy yeast infection, then big itchy rashes all over my back, abdomen, and back of legs.

Then I got a bad cold--high fever, sore throat & headache.

Took a day and a half off work, now back, but I'm having a lot of clear discharge, with no itching. Anyone know what this is? Of course it's the day the doctor's office is closed, so I can't call them til Monday.

My 6 week appt is next Thursday, hopefully it's nothing serious, I'll just call Monday.

My energy is good though, and I've been doing half hour walks every day.
