Hope everyone is doing well! I'm still struggling with the deep muscles aches in my thighs but other than that I'm doing great!

We've been busy at the flower shop these last few weeks. Hopefully it will continue to be busy.

My 30th class reunion was this past weekend. I really did not enjoy my "high school experience" to say the least and really saw no reason to go to the event other than do drop off the flower arrangements and the balloons. None of the people that I was closest to in high school were going to be there. after stewing about it all week, my husband & I decided to go but we were only going to stay for 45 minutes. I ended up staying until the bitter end at 2:00! I won't go as far as to say that I had "fun" but I did get to see two friends that I hadn't seen in a while... both told me their marriages were falling apart. How depressing... they've both been married 25 years. In fact, I was totally shocked about one of them, I thought they had the "perfect" marriage. guess its a lesson that looks can be deceiving! Made me really appreciate my husband!

Hope everyone has a great week!

No one much on here now. Wonder if anyone else will reply? Hi all, if you are there. Guess they must all be feeling pretty good!

Take care.

Hey! What kind of hormone are you on? I've heard that some hormone therapy can give you leg muscle pain.

I'm on Prempro, the lowest dose. My muscle pain predates by hysterectomy by quite some time. I wish I could "blame" the hormones! like alot of my symptoms pre-hyst I thought the aches were premenstrual in nature. Maybe it still is related to the hormones, now that you mention it. I will do some more research!

thanks for responding!

Julie, how are you doing these days? Hope your family situation has improved.

muscle aches

Funny, but I just started having muscle pain in my thigh again, starting today. I had these pains for years, and haven't had them since my TAH. Thought the pain was coming from my ovary. Everything is gone, so what could be causing them? Was so upset today. I'm always fearful of adhesions, but after seven months or so, probably wouldn't be that. Or, could it? Just when I think I am home free, wham - I'm reminded I'm still healing. My doctor told me I wouldn't feel myself for a whole year, so I try to be patient. Feel great most of the time, except when I over do it. Until this.

Hi Pekingeslover, sorry to hear you are having pain.

Hopefully it is nothing to worry about. I started getting pain in my hip, and was scared the endo had spread to there, but it eased off after a couple of days. I wish the same could be said for the rest of my pain, but hey. So, perhaps it is just a little glitch, your body complaining about something. I do hope so. Glad to hear you do feel great most of the time. Take care and take it easy.

Tasting problems?

Hi everybody,
Just another weird question, like the thousand others I've have since all this started a year ago......

Has anyone else had a problem tasting food like they use to, after hysterectomy and starting on HRT?

I used to just LOVE my scrambled eggs w/cheese every a.m. after my walk--now it just doesn't taste that good anymore.

I'm wondering if it will pass, or stay this way

Thanks for e-listening....

Hi June, sorry to hear that your scrambled eggs aren't as tasty anymore, along with other food! I'm not much help, I'm afraid, as I haven't yet had my ovaries taken (it is still a possibility) so am not on HRT. Perhaps someone else can help with this...

Take care.
