How many post op appointments with surgeon did you or will you have?

I had an appointment at approximately 2 weeks and another at 5 weeks and have been released. I see some posts where ladies seem to go every week--- talking about 5 week check up and then asking something else at 6 weeks check up. Just curious. Are two post op check ups normal? I had a uti at the 5 week check up and do have to go and do another culture in a month but that is all.

I have been having stomach cramps for the last week. I blamed them on the macrobid for the uti but I still have the cramps and I've been done with the antibiotics for two days now.

How many post op appointments with surgeon did you or will you have?

Originally, my Dr. only wanted me to come once at 6 weeks. Well, I had complications and was re-hospitalized at 6 days post op so she had me come at 2 weeks post op as well. That appointment was today and she ordered a bunch of tests so I wonder if she will want me to come back again sooner than the 6 week time frame.

I have had 2 so far: one to remove my staples, and another a month later to check how I was healing. I will have one more at the end of May as a follow up and I assume that will be my final if everything is all right.

I had a 2 week and a 4 week and am going tomorrow for the 6 week check up. It was only going to be a 2 wk and 6 wk but I had too had some complications including an infection so I had one extra followup visit.

I had a two-week f/u and at that appt. he said I was released at four. I am sure if I had a complication I could have seen him, but one was it.

How many post op appointments with surgeon did you or will you have?

I had a 2 week, 5 1/2 weeks because of UTI, & regular 6 weeks post op. Because of lots of stitches and other things, doc wouldn't release for baths, exercise or sex, so I have to go back at 3 months.

I still haven't seen any signs of stitches dissolving. Has anyone else?

How many post op appointments with surgeon did you or will you have?

I was supposed to have one at 2 weeks and 4 weeks. Mine actually ended being at 2.5 weeks and 5 weeks. Both were fine other than the blood in the urine and now I am facing other issues that will go beyond post-op.
