Vagina Cuff Bad?

Hi Everyone,

Those of you who had to have your vagina cuff fixed after your hysterrectomy...how did the doctor determine it needed to be fixed.

I am 10 weeks post op and have pain when I sit down. It feels like I am sitting on something or there is something inside of me. It almost feels like I am pressing against the cuff or something.

I am seeing two doctors tomorrow and I am wondering if I can ask for a certain test to see what is going on.
The doctor who did my surgery says everything looks good...but with all the pain I am having I don't believe him. I want to get a second opinion.

Has anyone experienced this? Thank you so much for responding.

Debbie

Vagina Cuff Bad?

Dear Debbie ....HI ,its me the other Debbie !!! have you recieved any of my private posts as Ive only recieved one of yours...I have had internet trouble since last reply ,I have not been getting through to this board and couldnt reply to post until today ,I have a feeling that your troubles maybe with your pelvic floor muscles!!! I have a vagina cuff that seems to drop alittle and have been told that this can cause the frequency feelings and with you, maybe the hard feeling that your sitting on something, which I dont have ,I did prior to surgery because of a prolapse , I have had a slight relief from my urgency/frequency feeling since I started noticing my pelvic floor muscle and started holding the muscles up as much as I can all day ...So may be your pelvic floor muscles are weak at the moment , concentrate on them the next few days and see if it works for you!!!keep intouch and have been thinking of you..goodluck, debbiep

Vagina Cuff Bad?

Hi Debbie,
I didn't experience granulation or anything of that nature with my vaginal cuff. However I did have an ovary stuck to the other side of it I still have some scar tissue there where they removed the adhesion I beleve because I have discomfort there and a pressure kinda.
I hope someone else comes along who has had a similar problem to you - they may have some answers. In the meantime here's a and I hope you get this sorted out.
