Wish me luck......

Hystergo -

Oh my I SO get how you felt. That must have been so hard that many surgeries in a row.

I really felt like I was going to have a panic attack at the thought of doing this again - like I just mentally cannot. Not even be in the hospital again!! Friday night when I was in so much pain I kept thinking the worst and I made myself amost meditate. I just stopped talking to everyone and I closed my eyes and just concentrated on slowing my breathing. And you know what - it worked. I was getting ready to say OK just take me to the ER, but at the same time I was distraught about that. Once I calmed down I was able to take a percoset and make it through the night.

I cannot do anything but wait it out right now so I am using my energies first and foremost on positive thoughts and healing but also to start to consider the "worst case scenario" so I can be as mentally and financially prepared as possible if it happens. After all that has happened I'd be a fool not to at least consider there may be more. Heck I never thought all this would happen and I'd rather be in control this time than to get sucker punched again!

Thank you so much for your message. It gives me so much comfort to come here and find not only those who understand and lift your spirits but also those who have walked a mile in your shoes.

Hi Starbgirl,

I was just thinking about you and wondering how you are doing. You may have posted elsewhere, but I didn't see it yet. I hope you are doing better.

Wish me luck......

Thanks for thinking of me! That really warmed my heart!

I wish I had better news but unfortunatly the Estrace & Relegard creams are not working to solve my bleeding. I am supposed to see my Dr on the 13th but I decided to call today because if I need to get it fixed (surgically) then I need to do it right away.

I'm starting to be scared of all the time I've had off from work. My districts results have definitely taken a nose dive! I am a single mom so losing my job would be beyond devastating. I am working from home now, but that is NOT the scope of my job, rather my boss trying to be nice to me.

I'll let you know what he says..... and thanks again,

Sometimes we have to take the bull by the horns. I hope that you don't need surgery. If you do, I hope it is a snap. You're in my prayers.
