I had my first week since external rads and chemo have been completed. I have noticed each day I feel a little better than the day before. BUT------MY ACHING BUTT!!!!!!! LITERALLY! LOL! OUCH! But that too is getting better each day and with the help of the meds I was given, (Not pleasant giving one's self a suppository, but it helps alot with the pain).

I look forward to each day as I gain a little of myself back every time I wake up.

I can say my appreciation for life has changed drastically and I find I do not have patience for those who want to do nothing more than find petty things to complain about on a daily basis. They say misery loves company but I do not have time for misery just time to find enjoyment out of each day no matter what it brings.

At the end of March I am scheduled for my internal rads (3 days inpatient) and my treatment will officially be completed. They are waiting 4 weeks because my rear end needs time to heal (it took the biggest hit, literally, I also have some GI issues which is being treated and those meds are working wonders also)

And I am going to do some power shopping later today!
