Gas coming back?

I had the same problem. I tried taking Beano before every meal and it worked great. I hope it helps you too. Good luck.

Gas coming back?

Ihave ben so surprised by the extreme gas pains that I have been having. I'm 14 days post op for TAH. I really under estimated the gas and the constipation. I have just been taking a generic pill for the gas. Do you think that a certain brand makes a difference. Is now the time to increase my fiber or like the post above should I be doing more liquids like cottage cheese, pudding? I have also been drinking a lot of cyrstal light do you think that is just as good as water? I just got so tired to drinking plain water.

Gas coming back?

I don't know jjg but I've been drinking Propel as I'm sick of water too. Sometimes I ip on a cup of hot water. I know that's wierd but it tastes great.

So one other question I have is that is Milk of Magnesia not a laxative? I thought it was the same as Miralax?? I'm bad at this as other than these surgeries I've never had consitpation.

Thanks ladies,

Gas coming back?

I know this sounds goofy, but this is one of my bigger concerns about returning to work. Right now, I can, um, expel the gas as necessary. However, I can't very well do that at the office and will have to hold it. Jut the thought gives me a belly ache. I use Gas X, and take it right after I eat instead of waiting until I have gas pains. But I still pass gas alot. I just tell my family that it's doctor's orders (HA)!! However, I don't think my coworkers are going to buy that.

Gas coming back?

Oh nuts, you mean that I have many more weeks to endure the rib pain. Sometimes it is more when I do my walks and overdo.
