Sex after vag hyst

I have a question. It has been 6 weeks and the doc has released me to resume my previous activity including sex. Is it possible that my va jj got shorter? My cervix was removed and some post something repaired.

It's possible... Read this article for more info:

(As the article says, it's also possible that your va-jay-jay is slightly longer...)

Highly doubt hubby will complain..... ha ha

But please, dont push yourself to do it just to please him. Okay? Do it when you're ready... remember you just had major surgery down there.... might still be numb I know i was... sex on top was a challenge.... lol like i said, pace yourself and dont over do it.

maybe think about using KY to help make yourself alittle more 'slicker' ....

Hi Pj's
I was reading some of your past posts and see you had a complication with your bladder. Anything like that can slow down the healing process. You have just reached your 7th week. Some women are healed by this time, but some really aren't. The average time for initial healing is 6 to 8 wks.

Please don't let this discourage you. I hope your dh isn't pressuring you about this. There isn't a thing you can do to hurry up the healing and it wouldn't be fair of him to make you feel pressure for sex. ( You can tell him I said so, if you need some back up )

The most important thing is that you heal completely. You're going to have the rest of your lives to enjoy intimacy. If you feel pain and pressure to perform it's only going to make it worse because your body can't respond to that. We tried at about 7 wks and decided to wait a week and try again because it wasn't really great. With each week it got better. It's smart to use some extra lubrication at first. If you find you don't need it later you can stop using it.

Try not to be too discouraged over this. You are still relatively early in your recovery. Give it time.
's, Rita

I can't tell you the answer yet--- but I hope to know that answer on Thursday when my "two more weeks" is finally up. I feel like a dirty old lady but it has been a long time and I miss being with my husband. Due to some physical problems it has been a lot longer than just the 7 weeks since my surgery.

Can't wait until Wednesday night---- ha, ha.
