did you feel when the stitches were dissolving?

I have been feeling some new sensations in the places where i think the stitches would be from my TVH. It is not painful at all I can just kinda feel things going on in that general area, if that makes sense. I am almost 5 weeks post op so maybe it is the process of the stitches dissolving? Did anyone else feel anything like this?

I'm not sure exactly what causes it, but a hysterectomy most certainly is responsible for all sorts of weird and wonderful sensations! I don't know whether any other ladies will be able to relate to the stitches reference but, at 5 weeks post-op, there's still alot of healing going on.

If you're at all worried, or do experience any pain, please don't hesitate to call your doctor.

Sending all good wishes!

did you feel when the stitches were dissolving?

I was wondering the same exact thing. I feel a sort of tickling feeling inside my vagina and I was wondering if it was the cuff healing, the stitches dissolving, or what. I'm only 2 weeks post op.
I'm not worried about it - I know there's alot going on with my body right now. Unfortunately I can't scratch this itch so its a little frustrating LOL

did you feel when the stitches were dissolving?

I am just now passing sutures 6 weeks post op...I get odd little pings, nothing like the pings I had the first 3 weeks. I had a TVH and right ovary removed.
