When I said "early in the game", I was really referring more to the tired, tender and uncomfortable feelings you're having. I don't think you have any reason to believe at this point that you should expect anything to get worse.
Just out of curiosity, what kind of surgery did you have? Whether you kept your ovaries or not will be telling of what other things may be in store for you. I had my ovaries removed and didn't really feel the hotflashes and experience the insomnia and brain fog until about 3 weeks post-op. And I'm at three months now and only just now starting to get past the brain fog and insomnia.
No horror stories from me... just some tired days and nights.
