3 more nights, two more days. Days are easier. Today was so busy. I went to the Castle & did all my pre-registration paperwork, met with the pre-assessment nurse, & gave blood for all the labs, & a pregnancy test. Took 2 1/2 hours. I need to be there 6 am on Friday morning. Now......how do I pass the nighttime hours til then ?? I guess I'll go lay in bed, & close my eyes & pretend to sleep. Oh, & I got the cutest new jammies in the mail today. I plan to wear them home, the bottoms are very roomy with a drawstring waist, they're red, pink & orange baby pinstripes.

Best wishes for all.

Countdown!

Hi everyone, I had a CRAZY day yesterday. My son had knee surgery and everything came out fine with it, it was an oupatient surgery so he was in and out in about 4 hours. Then I had to go to urgent care because I KNEW I had a bladder infection. If you've ever had one, you know how it feels. Well, the doctor confirmed it and prescribed me some antibiotics. Then, I called my doctor to see if the bladder infection would interfere with the surgery, and she said no, WHEW! I have not been able to sleep the last couple of nights and my blood pressure has been going higher and higher. This morning I finally prayed to God for myself and asked Him to bring a spirit of calmness over me. I really cannot take being this nervous and anxious anymore. After I prayed I saw a picture in my mind of God covering me with a cloak (a calmness cloak? ha!). Everytime I start to feel nervous I think of that picture and it calms me. Thank you God! It's funny, we ask everyone to pray for us but sometimes we forget to pray for ourselves.

Anyway, I am starting on my lovely liquid diet today. I think I'll have some nice jello for breakfast. I have to drink the two bottles of magnesium citrate, hopefully it won't make me nauseous. ((Annessa)) I still don't see how you got out of the bowel prep Lucky you!

I meant to post yesterday, but I was just too tired. I know the ladies that had their surgery yesterday are so relieved, and good luck for the girls having surgery today!

Emily, take slow deep breaths, in through your nose, out through your mouth. Here's a hug. ((((((( Emily )))))))) Hang in there, it will be here fast now.

Annette, can I borrow the calm cloak when you're done ? Hugs.
