I think my hairy legs shiver at the thought of a razor. It has become a once a week ritual.

I don't know how I am going to get ready for work in 3 weeks. I will have to get up at 5am!

THIS IS THE epitomy of boredom. I have gotten hooked on Big Brother 9 and just signed up for the two week free trial....the last two weeks till the final episode.
How SAD....I am watching people sleeping and snoring!!

Denise, I sent you a private message with my info.

I agree that men are big babies, my DS17 has conjunctivitis today and asked for the day off from school!

I wonder what he would do with a period, take the whole WEEK off?

Ladies, I am desperately needing a massage... even though I ought not to spend the money, I think it will help with my daily headaches and insomnia. My poor body needs some TLC.

Good Morning Everyone! ( Iwrote this early but could not get on site)
I just now got caught up from the past 2 days.
Jumblebee- I feel the same as you do about giving everybody a hug personally.
Maetigger- My DH and I worked 2 jobs for 20 years. I too have never been out of work for this long, but I kinda like it even with these circumstances.
Nicoler76- I too feel like a blob. Will I ever wear a 2 piece again?
Tunacat- You are doing wonderful & don’t let anyone tell you different.
Hyssissa- #1164 was beautiful, are you a writer? You should be!
Ali2p- Welcome to “Simply the Best.” This group of ladies will tickle your funny bone, cry real tears with you, and pick you up when you are down.
DeniseS- One amazing lady! I’m proud for you of your 17 yo DS! My DS is 27 and been there done that.
Sw34- Loved pic- I may try to figure out how to post one too.
Well, I went for my post op appt and I am doing great. I was trying to figure out how to ask that 1st question, you know…., I didn’t have to, The DR. said you may resume everything! (The Parking garage was full of people and home is an hour away-Ha! Ha! Yes we waited! But it was hard!)
He said-Just take everything slow and gradually get your stamina back. I still have another week off and will start working ½ days for 1 week then resume my regular 40 hour week. I don’t want to go but have to financially. I can finally put vitamin e oil on my scar. I thanked him over & over for doing such a great job on my surgery. He laughed and said he didn’t do it the orderly did, then he said just kidding. I thanked him again and said I could not wait to begin my new life with NO PERIODS! (No more singing the Ta Ra Ra Boom De Ay song). I told him of my wonderful new friends & support group in hystersisters and he said that was great. I also told him he would be receiving a pamphlet in the mail and to recommend it to all his patients.
I was tired when we got home and layed down and DH woke me up 4 hours later, asking me if I had heard the phone ring, the dog barking( because TWRA came and set the big metal cage in the front yard baited with sardines, donuts, etc. to see if we can catch the big bear that visited Sun night). I said no did not hear a thing, and I haven’t had any pain meds in a couple of day. I was exhausted!
Anyway, going to DD’s for steak dinner and to watch Miss USA tonight. I get to hold my darling granddaughter and can’t wait. Gonna have me some Lambrusco and no tellin what I’ll get into! No I’m not gonna overdo it, we’ve came too far ladies! I’m thinking of changing my name to ReleevdnTN.
Take care, pamper the princess, and have a lovely day!

Thanks. Sounds like a fun night at your DDs. Enjoy the steak and Lambriusco (what is that?). I'm so glad your doing great! It is comforting to hear other sisters doing so good! A bear-wow kind of scary. I live in CO and we used to live in a condo before we bought our house. There was a bear right below my deck. Good thing I was on the 3d floor the bear was huge! Take care have a Lambriusco for me (only if alcohol I could use a good nights sleep!)

Thanks! Hey by the time I'm ready for my divorce you should be a lawyer......wanna be my attorney????!!!!! LOL

You go get your massage.....you deserve it. If I could tolerate it, I'd go for one, too. Well, if I had any money at all because of course it's been four weeks and I've yet to receive a disability check.....!!!!!! Dh would laugh me into next week if I asked for money for a massage.

Big baby is right!!!!! My dh smokes like a chimney....has since he was 14 years old, he's now 46. His brother had a long removed for lung cancer and STILL smokes. My dh's entire family are a bunch of chain smokers. Anyhow....he lays next to me and snores and get that nasty smokers cough then complains when he can't breath! If I say anything about his smoking he gets all honkerblonky with me. He'll defend his habit before me or his kids. He even sneaked and had a cigerette in the bathroom of my hospital room when I gave birth to his second child. Anyway.....point is he makes himself sick with cigerettes then wants me to give him sympathy 'cause he can't breath. He's lucky I don't hold a pillow over his face when he sleeps!!!!! Stupid!!!!

Okay.....feeling better now. :

I may have spelled it wrong-it's a sweet fruity red wine. I kinda feel bad after that post because so many are not where I'm at and son will be-but I do feel for all of you and would love to meet everyone. You are all such amazing women. If everyone wants to plan a get together, I'll do all the legwork. We could possibly meet in Gatlinburg, Tn? or anywhere it would just be fun! Come to my house! I just feel so very close to all of you.

Don't feel bad about your recovery! It gives me hope when I read about everyone getting out. I know that I'll feel good soon too. Wine I love wine. Cabernet sauvignon is my favorite. Since I haven't taken a pain pillin a few days maybe I'll have a glass tonight. Here is to my sisters at hystersisters
