Thanks for your thoughts! I doing ok. The Dr found 6 different adhesions all over my stomach. Thankfully the masses turned out to my internal staples from my hysterectomy in March and not ORS. They have binded together. The adhesions were attaching my intestines to my abdominal wall. The one that was really painful was the thickest strange that the other ones on my right side weren't hurting. I'm going fine today just really sore and lots of brusing. I also got some scratches under my arm. Ha, wonder what the heck happend during surgery. I feel alot better than I did after my hysterecomy. However, I think I caught my DH cold! I hope this is all behind me now. I've really had a hard time with all the infections and adhesions. Glad to hear so many of you are doing great! I haven't seen anything from TunaCat. Take care sisters.

Shelly

Now me I didnt have any complications & smooth sailing. My Internist just wanted routine blood & urine. Now I have to get checked everywhich way but loose cause I had blood in my urine, microscopic ammount that would be normal for a menstruating woman. But since I dont do that anymore I get scanns & such anyone else had this? My sister had it & they never found a reason but they looked in every uncomfortable cranny they could

Meatigger
I hope everything is ok. Do you have some type of an infection? Let us know how you’re doing.

I had my post-op I had more than 6 adhesions (I don’t know where my DH came up with that number). The Dr said I was full of them. I knew something was wrong when I kept having so many infections and slow recovery unlike most of you. The Dr said that my liver is a yellowish brownish color and should be pink. I have to go to a GI Dr the 13th. My blood test came back that my liver isn’t functioning correctly. Some of my enzymes are way out of range. He took me off of my Premerian and put me back on a patch since your liver filters medicines. I like this form of HRT better I don’t feel so emotionless. If it isn’t one thing it is another! I hope it is nothing serious and just that I’ve taken a lot of pain meds over the last couple of years due to pain and all my surgeries. I’m so TIRED of always complaining I want to be normal again!

No Shelley I haven't had any infections. My health insurance at work is changing to a higher ded in Jan so I guess if I must go through tests now would be the time but there are lots of other things I'd prefer doing on days off! I'm hoping if I have a kidney stone that will satisfy the quest and no one will want to put a camera in my bladder cause I am not wanting that.
Well hopefully your liver is just worn out from medications & just needs some R&R to pink back up

Hi all, I am still hovering on this board but haven't posted on this thread for a while.

I am having mesh removal surgery on Dec 8th. Long story but I have been in pain since my hyster in March.

I am glad to hear most of you are doing so well and my sympathy to the few who are still experiencing problems.

Cool - Hysterectomy dates Mar 10-Mar 17,2008 I'm still alive...LTNS

Wow I can't believe I haven't posted since July. Well lots has happened since then. My husband found a job in October in Houston, TX. We made the big move the beginning of Nov. We live in The Woodlands, TX which is about 30 miles north of Houston. I love it here so far. The weather is GREAT! I don't miss the frigid winter and snow. Still settling in, but things are good. I found a job in a hospital about 3 miles from our home. I still work in the NICU. I work 3 nights/wk. The kids have adjusted well. We got an offer on our home the same day we listed it, but we have to go through a short sale. We can't sell our home for what we paid 2 yrs. ago. Stinks! So it's been tied up in bank mumbo jumbo since the beginning of Aug. Hopefully they'll close before the end of the year, but I doubt it. Bank is SLOW!!!! We also have another couple intersted in our home so if that falls through then we have a 2nd potential offer.

No problems in the female dept. No bleeding, pain, etc. The only things I have noticed is occasionally hot flashes and monthly migraines. Dang ovaries! Had my FSH checked in Sept. and she said I'm not menopausal even though having some early symptoms.

Well off to get some work done. Should get something done on my day off....

Life is good right now....stressed out from the the holiday rush, but good otherwise. Finally feel somewhat normal from neck and carpal tunnel surgery in July. Will I ever be completely normal.....probably not, but it is a good start. God is still good all the time . Merry Christmas to all!!!!!
