To be honest I feel mentally "great" for the most part. My MD had the best news for me, I say the best news because I really wasn't convinced I needed the surgery. SO, I was shocked to actually be told that my uterus weighed 197grams NOT including the ovaries. I had "a lot" of adheasions and scar tissue. The surgery took over 2.5 hours and from the photos he showed me I UNDERSTAND why I felt the way I did for the past 7 years! At the moment, I have lots of burning and tightness on my left side. I'm walking a lot and I've stopped all pain medication. The pain meds were not really making me feel good. I will return to work May 5th. I understand why a woman can't just jump back into life! this is a day to day process... My scar looks great! I'm taking this one day at a time.

Are you guy still awake?
Denise, how is your perineum?
SW, how are you feeling?
Nicole, I asked my boyfriend to dust the coffe table because we are having company tomorrow and he 'forgot".
I refuse to do it. I pushed myself too hard in Week 2, with cleaning and painting - no more- the house can go to hell!

I had a nice dinner and a Margarita, hold the salt.
It was nice to dress up and have a dinner out like we used to... but I couldn't eat much, have been bothered by slight nausea for the past few days.

sigh...

I've had 2 spikes in my fever where my DH is getting concerned. He keeps coming and feeling my head and he said I don't look to good. He told me that he is going to take me to the ER if I get another fever. I sure hope it is nothing and just a bug from one of my outings with my Vin Diesel. I love margaritas. Have you had a mango one? They are my FAVORITE! You should rest you really have been doing a lot! Painting, classes and a confrence. Take it easy so you don't have a set back, I'm speaking from experience it sucks!

I love my NCIS. My husband being stationed in Norfolk, I'm always picking out the stuff that doesn't match up. I was a big JAG fan 'til they ended that series. We live near the Naval Air Station, too so Top Gun is still a big deal in these parts and it's been 20+ years.

TunaCat...yup still awake. Kids went to a hockey game tonight so I won't take my sleeping pill 'til they all get home. It's been so quite around here. My mom went and got us Outback Steakhouse for dinner so I enjoyed a nice steak with a double serving of steamed veggies. No potato or bread....I'm still trying to be good.

Still no sighting of the perineum......I'm pretty sure it's in there somewhere, just not visible to me yet. One doc said it came apart but my doc said she can feel a small piece of it up there. I'll ask about it again on Wednesday. I sure do miss it......you never know what you will miss until you don't have it anymore. ::::sigh:::::

I think this is the week I would have been on my period. My face is all broken out and have huge appetite today! DH went to the store to get me a chocolate cake! UGH!

Tomorrow DH and son is going to a convention for the day. DD4 going to grandma so just myself and DD10 and she'll probably go and play with her friend.

So here's the plan SW34 you will need to put on the coffee, Denise you pick the channel, TUNA and I will provide the company....

Time for Big Brother SHOtime.....see you gals in the morning,

I was watching Big Bro AD but DH called and he wants to go to six flags this next week since the kids are out for spring break.
Now I am looking for vacation ideas for this summer.

I've been doing the same - watching HGTV here in Vancouver! I love Relocation, Relocatoin (Brit program) and of course Holmes on Homes. Gotta love the guy! However, it's not a hilarious day without Coliin & Justin.

OMG! I can't believe that you all have to cope with bills on top of recovering from something like this. Thank God in Canada for our health insurance. I got my surgery within a few weeks and it didn't cost me a thing. It makes me appreciate more what we have here when I hear stories like that.

Take care ladies and I hope it all goes well for you.
