It's TRUE hyster sisters! The hardest part is Waiting! I didn't think it could be, but it honestly IS the hardest part. I am 4 days post-op and doing WONDERFUL. Pain is under complete control, no vomiting nor nausea (don't be shy about ASKING for anti-nausea meds and then reminding the anesthesiologist), the catheter was hardly felt at all, and did not hurt coming out. Gas pains are felt some, but not really worrisome at all, and walking upright was much easier than I thought it would be.

Best of luck you all of you April hyster sisters. Get your recovery areas ready, and remember to walk, drink fluids, and keep up with your pain meds on time and you will be fine!

Strength through SISTERHOOD!!! You'll be back from the castle before you know it and on your way to healing. Woo Hoo!!!

Carla ... Everytime I post I notice you are right before or just after ... LOL

Shellbear ... How you doing today?

Do any other April Sisters have any great plans for the weekend?

My mom asked me why I haven't called much in the last week and I told her I'd been spending all my free time with my Hystersisters ... she must think I've lost my marbles!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

Hugs,
Tracy

Spirit H - so glad you are feeling good. I am feeling lousy today, and dragged myself around work all week looking rough - still, it reminds me why I am so glad there are only 12 or 13 days more to wait! Thanks for the glimpse of life "on the other side" of the big op.
