Post Op Bladder and Urethra Pain?

I'm almost 3 weeks post-op (LSH only) and I'm still having pain that seems to go from my bladder down to my urethra. It's a burning pain and very uncomfortable. Is this normal? They had me catheterized for around 24 hours I think.

Yes, I think it is quite normal... The catheterization has a lot to do with it and also the moving of the bladder out of the way to get to the uterus.. It does get better... Make sure to keep drinking water and if you get a fever, let your doc know sot that it doesn't turn into a UTI.
