Four weeks post-op and light spotting

I am almost 4 weeks post op and just also got some light spotting. I was guessing this was due to it being time for my period??? Does this spotting ever stop or does it continue? Yikes!!!!!

could be just dissolving stitches...did you keep your cervix? Does it fit with your period dates pre-op?

The cervix has it's own lining, so can still produce a mini-period each month if it is kept. It's not very common.

If it's just spotting, it will stop - everyone is different...if you have a discharge that worries you, you should check with your doctor.
