Does anyone else feel like everything is falling out?

I had a LAVH on 3/7- cervix gone, kept the o's. For the past few days I have been having tons of vaginal pressure. I just feel like my vagina is falling out. I thought it was due to being constipated, but I finally had a BM yesterday and the pressure is worse today.

I haven't taken any pain med since day 4 post-op because of the constipation, but I tried Motrin 800mg today and it didn't help at all.

Anybody else experience anything like this?

you should really call your dr and let him know how youre feeling. i didnt have a lavh but i have seen women post about vaginal pressure from swelling. it might help to take the 800 motrin on a schedule, before the swelling returns and the pain starts. talk to your dr about that. i hope you feel better really soon.

Does anyone else feel like everything is falling out?

I had that feeling off and on until I was about 6 weeks post op, I saw my MD and all was ok, I think for me it was related to swelling from the surgery. It did get worse then better then worse again without reason. Hope you feel better soon, I am 10 weeks post op and don't feel that way anymore.

You should call your Dr. I also had a LAVH and I don't feel that but I'm still on pain meds because I still hurt. It could be swelling or your pain is high since you stopped you meds? Are you resting? I hope you feel better! Let us know how your doing.

Does anyone else feel like everything is falling out?

Hi
do you have any other symptoms such as foul smelling discharge, cramping, fever? if so, you could have an infection
call your doctor to be safe, it could be nothing, but its better to be safe than sorry.
best of luck

I had that feeling too. In addition I felt like my stomach wasn't holding it all in either. I always felt like I needed to use my hand to keep it all together. It went away for the most part around 6 weeks. Still a little after a long day.

Does anyone else feel like everything is falling out?

Hi, I had a TAH with 25 staples up and down (not the bikini cut) I felt that pressure for an long time and also had to hold my stomach in. I may have overdone it a little since my surgery was at Thanksgiving and I had lots to do before the holidays. I needed two more weeks rest at my six week check up so my advice is to also see your doctor to be safe. Take it slow and rest. Good Luck.
