I have a couple of navel piercings and I have a piercing trick to keep them from rubbing/hurting while I am healing. It would probably work for you. You buy nursing pads (the little round ones for your nipple-leakage in the baby section of the store). Be sure they are flat and not shaped to your nipple or they will stick into your belly button and be irritating. You use a strip of paper tape or other medical tape (not waterproof, you will never get the glue off) to stick it on. Just center it on your piercing (or hole) with a single strip of tape across the back to hold it on. It works great! I have tried panty liners and bandages too, but these are so much thicker and comfier that they do not even compare. Good luck!

This is a timely post as I contemplate what to wear to Easter dinner tomorrow : (
I think I have a pair of Land's End dress pants that are cut generously and are about a size too big.
I guess I can't wear my jammies to dinner.

This made me laugh! My mom bought me a pair of Trix Rabbit sleep pants and a green shirt that matches and said it was my Easter outfit! So, yeah, you can wear jammies to Easter dinner. You just need the right jammies.

I just bought a bunch of Yoga pants in different colors and they are very comfortable. At least they have a more stylish line to the leg, more like regular pants. Then I cover up the obbiously athletic waist band with a cute smock top or slightly looser longer fitting t-shirt. I also find that layering a few things like a very thin cami with a looser button down shirt or t-shirt helps to camaflouge the belly area a bit better. My jeans were getting quite tight before surgery so I'm sensing it will be quite a while before I can fit into them again. I dont realy want to buy all new jeans and slacks so I'm going to wait it out and see if I can manage my old clothes eventually.
