How long does bleeding/spotting last

I'm just right behind you (March 4) and I'm still having to use regular pads - the panty liners are too small yet. I think it's slowed down and then I feel quite a bit come out but all in all it is slowing down. When I had my pre-op and asked about pads, the dr. said "6 weeks". So, I think it's kind of a start and stop thing. For me, I had the additional repair work done, which I 'm sure plays in.

I had LSH and never experienced any bleeding post-op.

My advice is to check with your Dr.

How long does bleeding/spotting last

I had LTH 11 days ago. I had period type bleeding for a couple of days. Since then I have had pink spotting off and on. They had told me this could last for up to 6 weeks, but that if it continued to be or became heavy I should call. Good luck.

I'm jealous of GizmoCat!

I did check with the doc; he said prob up to 6 wks but seeing how he hasn't had the surgery, I figured I'd ask people who have.

I had the period type for a few days, then nothing, then light pink, then I had to go to the ER for heavy gushing bleeding, now back to light pink. I just want it to stop!! I'm just venting...don't mind me. I know it could be worse...

How long does bleeding/spotting last

I am still bleeding on and off again at almost 4 weeks. I keep thinking it will stop, it does, and then starts again. My doc said don't worry -give it 6 weeks.

How long does bleeding/spotting last

I had my Surgery (LAVH) Feb 28th and still have slight pain and very light pink spotting, that occasionally stops. I don't know what is normal since this is my only experience. I'm more concerned with the slight pain I feel than the spotting, but since neither is serious I am waiting till my 6 week post op check up...

How long does bleeding/spotting last

Mine stopped at about 5 weeks. Dr. was able to see where it was coming from at my 4 week post op visit. I also thought it would have stopped way before the 5th week, but my nurse said there can be spotting for about 6 weeks post op.

Mine's stopped at about 2.5 weeks. But it may restart at any time. I think that the 6 week mark is standard for what doctors say as the upper bound.
