Pills, pills, pills!!!

I have never taken so many pills in my life-

Started with a tranquilizers because I was going out of my mind with anxiety before the surgery (yup, waiting IS the hardest part)

then:
stool softeners, laxatives, gas-X, Percocets, Advil, sleeping pills, iron pills and vitamins for the anemia, etc etc.
I should have bought stock in CVS.

LOL! I can relate. Between surgery, arthritis, and after surgery I got an upper respiratory infection...then to top it off, I got shingles!!
I could open my own drug store!

Pills, pills, pills!!!

Boy do I relate. I have to add in the list, hormones, vitamin C, and milk of mag, Mirapax for restless leg syndrom, wellbrutrin. Before surgery I was hoping to get rid of some of the pills and I will it will just take some time and I have to remind myself of that

Re: Pills,pills, pills!!!

I thought it was just me. I had laproscopic vaginal in oct. I developed a uti right after I got home and that's when it all started. Lost count of how many antibiotics I tried. I then got a very painful vagina inflammation that is trying to clear up. I was on percocets, loratabs ibuprofen. Of course not to mention all the over the counter meds that doctors were trying to tell me would help. That included mucinex, calcium nitrate, vitamins and of course my hormone patch and estrogen tablets. I never seen so many pill bottles. I thought my surgery was to quit all these problems. I spent more money on doctors and pills after my surgery than I have in my entire life. What we have to do to stay well.

Pills, pills, pills!!!

And now the new pills added to my usual pharmacy in the purse isn't enough. Oh no, now my dogs have to get in to the act. I have two lemon beagles who have between them pills for liver, valley fever, low thyroid and allergies which is worth a spray, an ointment, special bathing chemicals, anti-histamines and steroids alone. Oy!
