I'm supposing you have been in to see the dr if you were going this morning. I hope everything is ok. I have seen the clots be nothing and also seen them be a torn cuff. Seeing your dr is the wise thing to do so you can know what is happening with your body.

I hope there isn't a problem. Please let us know what you find out.

Sorry to hear this has happened to you. Any bleeding after your surgery should be reported and I can see from your post that you did. Hope all goes well for you at the doctor...let us know how it went!

Hello I am back from doctor. It was a popped stitch at the cuff site. The exam was painful, but worth it to know what was happening. Doc says it should close itself off and I need to be extremly careful about movement. Thanks for all your support.!!! northwest35

I'm glad your dr was able to see what was causing your problem. It seems that usually when there are large clots there is some sort of oening at the cuff. It's so good to just know so you can take the care needed to heal well.
Now you have added incentive to sit back and take it easy. Will you have a follow up anytime soon and were you given specific things to watch for? Take care and let this heal. I hope everything goes well for you. Keep us updated on your progress.

Glad you got in to see the doctor

Had thought it must have been a popped stitch and am glad you got in to see the doctor and you are back on track with recovering.

I had my surgery and have had no difficulties although I did overdo it (because I had been feeling too good) and did have a mild setback and no must be careful not to overdo.

(had stopped lifting myself off couch with arms, rolling out of bed from the side, and was not limitting my trips up and down the stairs)

Have my next followup on 4/1 for internal and trust that too will go well.
