2.5 months post op abdominal pain

Hi Dee37:

I am about 4 months post op and have been doing great until yesterday when I went food shopping. By the time I got home and unloaded the groceries (nothing unusual that I haven't done in the past couple of months) I was in pain-- lower belly area, too, but on the right side. I finally had to take 600 mg of ibuprofen and lay down for a couple of hours. It did go away and I was fine this morning, so I'm not sure what it was all about. The only thing I could think of was maybe I overdid my abdominal muscles by pushing the cart and then unloading the groceries out of the car. I understand it takes a year to heal completely. Hope you are feeling better.
