No bleeding post op, still need pad?

Also I guess I wait and see if I have the dreaded mini period since I have my ovaries and cervix. Wouldn't be a huge deal but would be nice not to get that.

No bleeding post op, still need pad?

I had an LSH on March 20 and I kept my cervix. Yesterday (post op day 8) was my first day of no bleeding. Even right after surgery I could have just went with a panty liner. Same for every day after that. I think the only reason I had bleeding is because I had a TOT bladder sling put in which has an incision in the vagina.

But other than that...I wore a panty liner today (it's the only thing I've worn since the night of the surgery...I HATE pads) but I'm thinking I can go without tomorrow. I am SO excited! I don't have a two week post-op appointment because my doc is out of town (his kids are on spring break next week), so I have a 3 week. I'm so happy with my procedure. I have been moving around living my life as normal for about 3 days now...with the except of no sex and no lifting over 20 pounds.

Good Luck!!

No bleeding post op, still need pad?

Still no spotting here which is great still wearing a panty liner though in case. I'm wondering if once it's more healed something might fall out. I read where someone on here had the LSH and the mesh material that they put over the cervix area after they are done cutting the uterus away to prevent adhesaions had fallen out of her. Not sure how many days after the surgery though. Maybe it just disolves in most cases not sure.

No bleeding post op, still need pad?

I had minimal discharge for about 4 days post op and have not had any since. I've kept my mini pads though just in case since I am only 10 days post op

No bleeding post op, still need pad?

It's 5 days post op and I haven't had any kind of bleeding or anything at all so yesterday I just stopped wearing anything. I'm just at home right now so if something comes out it's not a big deal. Once I start going out I'll wear a panty liner again.
