Do you want any kids
Two questions that may help you decide. Do you want to try and have any kids? I know that may sound crazy but dr told me if I wanted kids to not wait more than a couple of years after a laporoscopic for endo. I was 19 at the time of diagnosis but had pain before that since 13. My mom always blamed it on growing pains and never took me in to get checked. At the age of19 I finally went in myself. Good thing I did as my fertility was at risk. Luckily I had been engaged at the time of diagnosis and I have since had three kids. I've heard that pregnancies actually cure endo pain for 9 months anyway I did have some problems concieving and a miscarriage so depending on your age, how bad the endo is, and marital status that would be something to think over. Next question.. how much pain are you in and are you able to function during the month? Have you gotten a second opinion?

I'm so sorry. I failed to see the part where you said you had an ectopic. Forgive me. I'd get a second opinion before deciding. Miscarriages are sad and hard emotionally. Did dr say there is still a chance at having a baby? I don't know that much about ectopics but if there is a chance at having a baby I would tend to think I would want to try again at conceiving if dr says it's ok. So sorry for your loss.

Go for it!!!
Hi there,
I just wanted to say i had my hyster 9 days ago due to endo and pcos.I am 26 but done having kids and wanted a pain free life as soon as possible.Alot of women on here have waited until they were older and now say that they wish they hadn't.I am in the same boat as CM3.If you are wanting more kids then i would do another lap and try as soon as you recover from that. But if you are done with the kiddies then i would get it over with as soon as possible.I have never felt better.I am sore and have my bad days but it is nothing like the pain from the endo.If you are done with kids then why wait and out yourself through more pain when you know that you will end up with one anyway. If there is nothing holdinh you back then i say go for it and live the rest of your life pain free. You deserve it along with the rest of us.Good luck with your desicion and let us know what you end up doing.
