I Think I overdid it!! UGH

Violet, You are still early in your recovery, you need to take the level of pain medicine your dr recommends. At this stage and the pain you are in, you need to take whatever dosage is recommended.
Please listen to your doctor and do exactly as s/he directs you. A hysterectomy is a major surgery, hon. I don't know, of course, what is going on in relation to overdoing it, but I think being still and sleeping (pain medicine dosage you need for the type pain you are in) is going to be the best thing for you until your SONO on the 9th. I had a UTI two weeks after my surgery (bladder sling included) and I had nothing like you are describing. I did have the burning deep in my tissue that you are describing, but not the level of pain you are having. I hope you start feeling better. You've had a major setback and I'm afraid it's going to take awhile to heal. Take care and rest, rest, rest.

Thanks Everyone,

It is so nice to have friends and people that can understand how I feel. It is so frustrating trying to explain this to Dh and family, they just dont get it. My husband told the dr that I suck at explaing things, and they all laughed. I feel like the women that goes to the mechanic and makes sounds to describe the problems.

It seems when I am at dr or on phone I have a hard time explaining, but here it sounds right. Maybe I should print out and take it to Dr? Anyway, I really like my Dr but dont like the hospital I was in. I had very bad care and will never go back there. So I am torn now, "IF" I have to go to ER or hospital I would not go to the one I was in, I would go to the one where my hem/onc dr is. The problem is my GYN isnt affiliated. I did have another bad morning, night, day???

I ver did it by doing laundry and working. My DH and I are Photographers for childrens sports and had a big photo shoot last week. I was suppose to sit in chair, but I felt I had to take control and spent about 5 hours on my feet. Needless to say this is where my pain intensified, and hasnt got any better since. I was 14 days post op when I did this.

I have been really good now for 2 days I only came up the stairs to go on computer, now I will go back to my recliner and sit.

Thanks again I am so happy to have so many wonderful people to share with and have support from. Thank you all so MUCH!!
