Question at 2 1/2 weeks post op

(((Sisters))), it's important to be careful when sharing personal experiences that we not give medical advice. Telling someone it's okay to engage in any sort of sexual activity based on your own experience or based on what your doctor allowed can give the mistaken impression to anyone reading this thread that it's okay to experiment when it fact it is not.

Each Sister needs to check first with her own doctor. The doctors hear this question all the time so there's no need to be embarrassed or hesitant to call and find out what is and isn't okay for you. Your doctor should be pleased that you care enough about your recovery to ask.

Question at 2 1/2 weeks post op

I has asked my doctor prior to my TVH during my pre-op visit if there would be restrictions for me on orgasms, and he said there would be none. I was pleasuring myself by about day 4 post-op. And I too experienced an unusually high arousal level in those first couple of weeks, so it was very welcomed to have something to do about it. It was also a great relief to know that my body still functioned well in that way

Question at 2 1/2 weeks post op

thanks so much for these really does feel good to know I'm not the only one having these thoughts and desires so soon. To piggyback on you Cherie, I too want to know that my body still functions that way. I mean, just cause I'm feeling like I 'want to' doesn't mean it'll work right now. Oh and lack of release makes me a very very unhappy woman. Couple that with post-tah hormone surges and it's absolutely miserable. Hopefully it won't go on much longer

12 hr 40 mins till my Dr's office opens and I can ask the big question :-)
