Will the glue go away on its own?

I saw a post on here about steri-strip adhesive stuff. I am pretty sure my doctor used glue to seal up my incisions from my LSH.

If it is some kind of surgical suture glue...will it go away on its own or should I use some of the tips listed in the other post I read to remove it? If so, how long should I leave it on there before trying to remove it?

Thanks everyone!

Oh...I got in to my jeans today!!!

Will the glue go away on its own?

It depends on your body chemistry. The glue should come off or be absorbed in time.

However, they sealed up my incisions with surgical suture glue after my lap and the glue just wouldn't go away. I'd go to see your doctor, as there may be more glue than meets the eye. You don't want to remove something that still has a purpose.

Just so you know, steri-strip isn't necessarily the same as surgical glue.

Congrats on getting into your jeans! I'm attempting the same feat tomorrow.
