oh me ....

Hi Mantell1,

I am 10 weeks post op from abdominal hyst with ovaries removed, also tie up of vaginal area due to prolapse. However, they did leave my cervix in place. Take time to heal yourself and do not rush to get back to "normal superwoman" that everyone around you is so used to having.
I did not feel well for 3 1/2 weeks after. The next 2 weeks I really started feeling better. Gets better every day. Take care. I am 49.

I borrowed DVDs from the library and bought a couple from Amazon.com. You might want to check out "The Bucaneers" - it's five hours of fun about American girls looking for rich husbands in turn-of-the-century England. It kept me entertained during my colonscopy prep, which says a lot for the distraction level. I watched it again last week.
