Just wanted to pop in and say I missed you all very much!
I couldn't have done it without you.
Lots to share but I'll do that in the April 21-28 post op thread.
Going for a snooze but I'll be back later.

Hugs for everyone!

I'm home and fighting the pain beast. For me being in the hospital has been the hardest part(even worse than the waiting to have surgery)but I never have gotten along well in hospitals. I feel much better just being home in my own bed/environment and having my family around me.

Best of luck and hugs to all of our ladies going to the hospital this week. I hope you have a speedy recovery!!!

It's getting closer! Yikes! Had my pre-op CAT scan today. Pre-op testing on the 5th. Bowel prep the 12th (ugh). Then off to the castle on the 13th. This is really happening, isn't it? I need to focus on all the nasty little cancer cells that will be leaving my body....

Welcome home to both Tracy's. Freezy..you didn't scare me all that much. I am just starting to come around again to the reality of the situation. I am so glad you and BadlyBent are both home safe and sound. MGrubbs: I will be going to the castle right after you honey. Bowel prep on the 14th and castle on the 15th. Soon you and I will be joining the others. So how are all of you doing? My best friend and I went shopping and she bought me the nicest gown and robe for the hospital. It is very soft, pink flowers, and so sweet. I was going to buy it myself, but she insisted, and it was too pretty to tear apart fighting over who would pay for it at TJMaxx. I will definately feel like a princess walking the hallways of the castle in it. Shopping is great stress therapy.
Everyone take care of yourselves.
Big Hugs
Jane

Hi Sistas and all LIWs,

Just a quick post to say hi - I came back from hospital on Monday but haven't felt all that good since.

Surgery went well although I had some problems - and hopefully I will post more details on the post-op side tomorrow.

Love to all.

Bravefront - that night set sounds lovely. You will certainly be a true princess.

I'm off now - back tomorrow hopefully.

Oh Wendy...I am so sorry you have some complications. I hope you feel better and soon. They say the first week or so post op can be difficult. Hang in there. We look forward to hearing how you are doing.

Good Day LIW,
This thread was my life line prior to my surgery so I want to thank all of you still waiting and tell you that you really made a difference for me!
The first week home for me has been tough as I lost a lot of blood during surgery.
I hope to get back on here more soon but now it's a half an hour a day if I'm lucky.
Jane ... your set sounds so pretty to me too. YOu have and must therefore be a fabulous friend!
Hugs,
Tracy
