bleeding...I'm scared...(updated)

Is this world going crazy or what??? now my doctor just called saying that he's sorry but when I called him this morning he didnt have my chart with him and what he said about the hormones could not be because I have no ovaries

so why Im I bleeding I asked, he says he is still not too concerned about it because its part of the healing process, but to give him a call if it increases......then why the cramping?? I am back to square one!!!!!!!!!!!

I still think it was that sneeze or 3 hours seating in church, but the cramping is what puzzles me. any thoughts???

if I have my cervix and is cauterized, then where is this blood coming from???

Hi girls,

This same thing happened to me 5 weeks after a complete hysterectomy. I called the Dr. and he said a clot could have broken off the cuff to the vagina. I had the cervix removed also. He also said if it happened again he would see me in his office. I guess it didn't help that I had moved boxes the day before and probably put strain on my insides.

I would definitely call the doctor since you are getting other syptoms. Are you on any meds? What kind of procedure did you have? How long has it been?
I know I couldn't eat much when I first came home but that was from the pain meds the Dr gave me.
Please let me know. Concerned about you.

Honestly the bleeding accompanied by the dizziness and lightheadedness doesn't sound good. I would make a trip to the ER to be on the safe side. There could be many causes for your symptoms and it's just better not to try to guess what they mean. Let us know what you decide to do. {Hugs}

29Sam: Jen 1175: thank you for your posts and concern...I am taking no medication, just 2 motrins today, I had a SAH/BSO, they took all out except the cervix and this was almost 3 weeks ago...I have been feeling fine until today.
I had a good lunch, and rested the afternoon, but this lightheadness is really getting to comes and goes..cannot imagine what it can be...I have been under a great deal of stress, but not sure if that is the cause of it. what can it be, could it be related?

I searched on google dizziness after hysterectomy and found nothing....not sure what to do....

Hi 4hisglory,

I agree with Shellbear and rest.

I also kept my cervix. From what I have read on Hyster Sisters, with cervix-retaining ladies, there can be some post-op spotting for up to six weeks post-op. Some ladies spot right after their hyst...and some can start spotting several days after.

On the light headed and could be low blood pressure. In post-op, my Dr. told me to take extra time getting up from bed, a chair or the couch...due to having it.

Hope that helps.

Sending best wishes~

Are you on HRT? I had dizzyness as one of my side effects from the patch. I would call your Dr and see what they have to say.
