Horrid Nausea 4 weeks post

Hi gals. I am in need of some advice/help/ideas.

I am 4 weeks post and still have my ovaries. For about a week now I have been suffering from unabated nausea. Along with that I have had diarrhea and some dizziness.

This is an issue, not only because I am miserable! But also because I am breastfeeding and the diet of toast and coke is getting old.

I still have a fair amount of pain in the abdominal area, especially with bearing down. Also, "taking it easy" with a six year old and a six month old is a relative term!

All that to ask, is this normal? Could this have something to do with my hormones? I have read about ovaries "going bad"? I am annoyed and worrying that something else is going wrong. However, may be it is just a stomach bug that won't go away?

Any thoughts would be welcome!

Hi Lynn,

I'm not sure what you have going on but I'd call your doctor & bounce it off him/her. 4 weeks is still early in your recovery. At this point, I was feeling pretty good & overdid it. After overdoing it, I felt like I did shortly after surgery & it took me 2-3 days to bounce back. Good luck!
