Hurt from laughing - 4 Weeks out
Hi ladies. Need some input please.
I think I hurt myself laughing, no joke! I as watching a 30min show this afternoon and we laughed so hard everytime I just felt everything inside. Like I could feel my vaginal cuff with every laugh.
Now tonight my inside groin hurts like I've had a super gym workout. I've felt nausious all evening and just worn out.
So I am 4 weeks out of TVH and bladder sling. Been really good about getting rest and keeping to the rules. This morning started with going with DH to DD ballet and sitting for 4min and then riding along in the car this morning to Wal-Mart and walking around there for about 10min for bread and milk. THAT WAS IT! Came home crashed on the recliner for a few hours and watched some TV.
I am just surprised that this little activity knocks me down so quick. I only have 2 weeks left at home......OMG don't even want to think about that.
Thanks,

Hurt from laughing - 4 Weeks out
Hi Nicole,
I had the same problem, I just didn't have as much surgery done!
What I noticed was that everything seemed 10 times funnier that it actually was, and I would laugh and moan, and laugh and moan! I really had to hang on when I would watch certain shows. I always hung on to a pillow, I don't know if it helped or not, but it was a great "security blanket"
I hope you are feeling better soon.

Hurt from laughing - 4 Weeks out
You and I are in the same boat. But I had an abominal hyst with a full tummy tuck to boot! My friend called me Friday night and had me in stiches. i was laughing so hard for over a half hour I told her to stop it hurt so much! It will be 5 weeks for me tommorow. I was feeling better on Friday so went for a 2 mile walk after my GYN checkup, then shopping, cooking ect. All day yesterday I was in pain and today noticed some spotting. So I don't know if I'm sore from laughing, getting the checkup, or the activity. This is so frustrating. How are you supposed to know when you can do things. I am also worried as I have to go back to work on May 10. Glad I took two months off!
