I had mine at 3 weeks then I go again at 5 weeks. I think it all depends on the doctor, of course your's being on vacation probably played a big role in that. Anyway good luck with every thing.

I had my first at 3 weeks (doctor was on vacation as well) and will have my second (and hopefully last) at 5 weeks. As long as you are feeling fine, I think that it is OK.

Good luck!

just wondering, in case of an emergency, does he have a partner he works with is there another doctor on call?? just curious...

My first appointment was supposed to be 1 week after TAH/BSO but due to a low grade fever I went in a few days earlier. My next appointment is not until 5 weeks after that, so 6 weeks post-op.

I went at one week to have my staples removed and that was it. I then went just before my 5 week marker for the internal exam.
