staples removed

I had my staples removed yesterday (Friday) it was not as bad as I thought.

The incision line is swollen and hard. It is protruding from my stomach and is a strange hard roll.

Is that normal? And it does hurt more to walk without the staples and bandage. It feels like everything is moving around.

Yes, I did experience these same feelings when I had my staples removed. My DR. told me that it was normal. Sometimes, I know it gets to feeling uncomfortable, but I tried to ignore it as much as possible.

My doc took my staples out on day 3 but I have had steri strips since then. And yes, it definitely hurts more not having something over my incision. My steri strips are all gone now and the incision sooooo sensitive. And I have the "roll" above it. I keep hoping this will all go away. I wear my swelly belly band most of the day and it helps a little. I tried support underwear but they irritated me too much. Hugs to you!
