10 days post op (total laproscopic hysterectomy)

I am 27 yrs old, had my total laproscopic hysterectomy 10 days ago, I felt pretty good yesterday, didn't take any percocet for pain. Tossed an turned all night, woke up this morning and had vaginal bleeding, I also keep a temp of 99.4-100.00, belly is really sore today but down low, feels like a pulling sensation. really nauseated and vomitting today, but dry heaves cause stomach is empty, I am also having major night sweats an hot flashes, dr. took both ovaries, uterus, tubes and cervix. any one with advice please!!! I am miserable and really regretting this decision with surgery

Keep taking your temp!! watch that very carefully and call your DR at any time if it gets any higher-- you are still at risk for infection. I had similar surgery TAH with everything out on the 7th and am 35 . . . starting to get major night sweats too not sleeping great. I really hope you are doing better now but do not hesitate to call for help if you feel worse!!! And don't get dehydrated. . . sip on water or ice chips if you can bear it!!
Hang tight, babe!

10 days post op (total laproscopic hysterectomy)

I am 29 years old and had a total abdominal hysterectomy. I was lucky enough to get to keep my cervix and ovaries. I had fibroid tumors totaling 6 pounds in my uterus. Talk about painful. I am 13 weeks post opp. and I feel like a brand new person. I do still hurt at times, but nothing like the pain I experienced with the fibroids. Don't give up. It will get better.

if you feel like something isnt right, you should really call your dr. i dont think he'd be concerned with the temp as thats considered pretty normal after surgery. did your dr start you on any hormone replacement?
