Coming into 3rd week..am I alone here?

Hey Queenshead.....last night started to get weepy. Don't know if it is hormonal or just lots of things going on! Cant remember if you still have your ovaries or not. If not, are you doing anything hormonally? That all is sooooo confusing to me and I just am not sure how to make a decsion. I talked to my doc, he says he doesn't believe in "natural".....but I have read some on "natural"....so I don't know how to make the decision?

Coming into 3rd week..am I alone here?

About leaving the site....we girls who are feeling good, need to encourage the others that are not! What I think is soooo amazing about this site, is all the hystersisters that are 5 are 10 years out are still on here encouraging each other and encouraging us newbie hystersisters. I love that and hope I can continue in the same way. They really become hystersisters and encourage each other through life, not just this event! So Hystersisters.......don't leave, encourage

How do you all gauge when to lay/sit down?

BreezyBeans, I am guessing the answer here is when you get to feeling a bit tired or winded. I usually go about my usual routine during the day, then cook dinner, eat, and unlike before, I lay down to watch evening T.V. This is my relax time and seems to fit my energy level well. Plus I figure my body and I are working together. It produces the energy I need to get through the day, so I give it a break in the evening. Before I would have been going full force until midnight which is usually my bedtime. I hope that helps some... Good luck!

Coming into 3rd week..am I alone here?

"Hyster007 one thing I must stress is eating a healthy diet, drinking plenty of fluids (water), and moving every day as your body allows you to move. I started going on walks by myself, then started taking the dog. then at about 3 weeks, my doc cleared me to use very light weights for my upper body only. it made a huge difference in how I felt!"

I am thrilled that you sisters are doing so well. None of us are the same however. Some do run into complications. Many of us already follow a healthy diet, drink plenty of water, move and do some light weights yet we still get hit with complications.

Believe me, if we could make them just disappear with proper diet and exercise we would.

I do wish that those that have an easy recovery would stick around for a bit. It provides inspiration to those of us with complications.

Hello, everyone,
Glad to hear good reports on your recoveries. I, too, am doing pretty well. Better than I thought. I feel for all you sisters that are having difficult times and felt guilty that I was doing well. Now I realize that I was very lucky in my surgery and am glad I didn't know about all the possible complications before I went to the castle. I probably would have canceled the whole thing.

Mercredi - you hang in there! and keep taking good care of yourself!
