Anyone 2 months post-op??

Hi Way out West

We used plenty of lube but I do think it maybe related to that somehow, it has felt chafed and sore to touch right from the word go, only complaint I have had thought, so not too bad, but boy did it sting when we had sex, it was like rubbing sand paper on it.

Hopefully Local GP may be able to help next week.

Have a greatweekend

8 weeks post op

Hello, everyone. I am new to this site. It is great to find you all, and read about your experiences. I certainly don't feel so alone now. I am now 9 weeks post-op, and from reading your threads now know that we are all through the same sort of thing. I feel more tired some days than others. I ache sometimes . but everything on the whole is getting better. I am enjoying these last few weeks off before I go back to work. is there anything I should be doing to build up my stamina Love and thanks to all Feb girls. GER XX

Anyone 2 months post-op??

I'm glad to hear everyone is coming along. My DH works out of town so we haven't tried sex yet and I am so scared!! I go to a PT who checked internal and I have absolutely no pain on exam so I guess I shouldn't feel like it's going to hurt!!
I am so mad at myself for swimming last Sunday. Woke up this morning a little less sore. At 7 weeks, I was feeling good and when I went back to work everything seems to have stirred up and the swimming must have found abdominal muscles I haven't used in years!! I so admire those of you who are able to be so active at work and outside of work. I have been told no exercise for 6 months (except walking) and for me I now know why!!
I so thought everything would be normal after six weeks but reality is I have to remember I had surgery and take things very slowly.
For stamina, I have been told to just keep walking. Is anyone doing any abdominal stretches?
Please keep me posted on your recovery.
DBinColorado - hope your mom is OK.
