Home today, thanks for the support

I had my LASH on Wednesday morning and got home this morning. It was a great experience, the recovery so far isn't as bad as I feared. Okay 1 day so far. I was more nervous then I realized my blood pressure has been up all week, but it is coming down slowly now that its over.

My doctor was surprised that my uterus and fibroid was bigger then the ultrasound last month showed but was still able to do the LASH without a problem. I told her I thought it had grown over the month, I started actually being able to feel a lump in my uterus, my DH said he could feel it also.

She said I could go home last night if I had urinated first, when we decide to go ahead and spend the night I hadn't urinated yet, so to remove the stress we agreed just to spend the night, I think it was worth it. It still took a couple of hours after the decision to go, then they told me I had to actually urinate 3 times before leaving, well that took until middle of the night.

Again thanks for the support, I am very happy with my decision to have this done.

Hi yayimshrinking,
I had my LSH on Monday and am doing well also. I'm glad your experience has been a good one so far. Try to get your rest even though you feel well.
