Hi Hystersisters!!!!!!

This post is for all of you who are enjoying the fact that you have..........NO MORE MONTHLY CYCLE!!!!!!!!

I know this has been posted before many, many, many times. I just have to join in on all the fun and tell you of my excitement!!!!!

I am now 11 weeks post-op. I had my surgery in February. I had a total abdominal hysterectomy. I had my uterus and cervix removed and kept my ovaries and tubes. I had a fibroid in the wall of my cervix the size of a grapefruit. The fibroid was pushing my organs all over the place and I was nauseous every day. Goodbye fibroid!

I turned 45 years old this month.......I'm halfway to 90!!!!! Ha ha ha! When I turned 40, I was getting quite tired of my monthly cycle.......s...l...o...w...i...n...g.......me down. The thought of 10-12 more years of the cycle was....ugh......

NOW.....................when I take a shower and get dressed..........there is no more routine of tampons, panty shields, large pads, messes, ruined underwear, etc., etc., etc!!!!!!!!

I am in my....................GLORY...................yahoooooooooooooooooooo!!! Can you tell I'm excited and relieved????!!!!!!!!!! I could stand on the top of a mountain and scream at the top of my lungs!!!!!!!!!! Yippeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No more cycle, no more cycle, no more cycle, no more cycle, no more cycle, no more cycle........and.......no more cycle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a complete relief!!!!!!!!!!!!

On that happy note...............have a sunny day!!!

Anyone is free to join in on all the fun of celebrating.....no more cycle!!! Please share your excitement!!!

Sheer happiness, Irish Bridie

It is GREAT!!! Woo hoo! I am 34 and look forward to this summer! I can take my daughters to the pool anytime and not have to say that "mommy doesn't feel good today".

I'm only 5 days post-op. But, I'm already looking forward to no more periods, pads, and tampons!!! I'm so happy about it, I could cry. No more planning my life around my periods. Of course by the time I had the surgery, I was pretty much bleeding everyday. I will not miss it.

I've missed 2 periods now and am thrilled. I've shopped for white pants (I'm still leary though..I have kids and a dog..Lord only knows what I'll sit in)
and pretty panties.
A sink draining properly, a new fridge that when you open it the crap on the doors doesn't fly off..and no more periods..these are the things that at age 36 make me happy....is there something wrong here?
