Anyone else a slow healer ?

it does take a really long time to heal.......i bent over funny to get chicken from the oven tonight, almost dropped the whole pan on the floor, then went upstairs to get some pain meds and lie down.....some days are better than others.......I'm really waiting for the 6 month mark to see how I fare......
you're in the pool with the rest of us, just take it day by day.......

Anyone else a slow healer ?

Another slow healer checking in!! I'm 3 months post-op, and I'm still drained and sore by the end of the day. I took it super easy for the first 6 weeks, but after that I had no choice but to jump back into taking care of my kids by myself.

I'm definitely not to the point where I don't think about it. I still have soreness, the pulling feeling, and some discomfort when I have to lift things. I've gone for several check-ups with my doctor, and he says everything is healing that's good. It just makes me realize that what everyone says is very true - it must take at least 6 months to feel normal again. So I try to keep reminding myself that I'm only halfway there!!
