Granulation tissue, what to do?

This problem has been going on for weeks now. I have had silver nitrate applied several times and it looked to be healing. Now this morning my doc says its no better, slightly worse. I am so tired of having this discharge for so long and having to wear liners. Has anyone else had this problem? And what's causing this problem to begin with? I've read about it here, but I'd like other's comments and thoughts. Thanks.

Granulation tissue, what to do?

Yes, I know just how you feel. I had granulation and was treated 3x over several months. The last visit the doctor did minor surgery in office, treated it again with SN, and I have not had a problem since.

The problem is that the tissue in there is moist and it does not heal very well. Granulation is quite common after this surgery. I have heard some women to have several treatments and maybe have some of the unhealthy tissue removed.

What does your doctor say? Does he think the next treatment fix it?

I hope it gets better soon, as it is not very pleasant and so frustrating.
