I have just been doing a little research on the internet and was wondering if any of you are taking iron supplements now since your surgery? I still am and that is one of the medications listed as a possible B.O. culprit. Of course, there were a zillion other things also, but other than my HRT that is the only thing different that I am doing since I had my surgery.
Just curious.

Post-Op underarm B.O. anyone?

I'm not taking any iron supplements. Thankfully I had very minimal bleeding during surgery and used only 1 pad afterwards. Haven't had bleeding since day 2.

I think it is just the hormones going crazy. I recall also doing this after having my kids. Shew weee did I feel like a stinker during postpartum.

I have noticed this when I am PMS and I never smell any other time. My doc said it's hormone related for sure.

I have tried these crystal things you rub uneder your arms, I have tried roll on things, deoderant soap everything and nothing has worked!! I am not on any hormones or supplements, and my ovaries are working fine.. I am 2 weeks post-op and been having this since I left the hospital. I tried the Secret clinical strength, and honistly it didnt work for me.. I dont know what to do!! I am not happy that other women are going through this, but I am glad I am not alone in this!!! If anyone has any other suggestions PLEASE let us know!!! I am also not having bad night sweats either so I have no idea where this is coming from, or what is causing it!! Thanks sisters....

I wanted to let you all know that the condition we have is called 'hyperhidrosis" and if you Google it you can access lots of information on it. I guess Botox is even one remedy but only lasts a short time and can be painful. I used the Clinical Strength Secret last thing I don't like about it so far is that is has a strong "perfumy" scent but I am hoping I get results...I am bummed that "trufrend" tried it and it didn't work!

I've been experiencing this as well. When I wake up in the morning and by mid-afternoon, my deodorant isn't working anymore. Never thought of changing deodorant. I actually changed my soap. I started using Johnson's Softwash 24-hour BodyWash. So far, so good. The only thing is my skin feels like there is a soft film on it. Kind of like when you put lotion on and don't massage it in completely.
