ovarian cyst

Hi all

Ive had a second ovarian cyst found on my left ovary. I go back on Monday for the results. However since the problem with the cyst has developed I ve had swelliing in my left leg. I had some pain down the front of my left leg at the time the cyst was found and then I think burst - the cyst and had lots of pain etc which fortunately has resolved itself.

However Ive noticed the swelling in my foot and aroundmy anke.

I had treatment for cervical cancer 4 years ago and wonder whether the removal of lymph nodes combined with this cyst is now causing this swelling. Or whether swelling of the leg is common with ovarian cysts.

sorry to ramble Im getting anxious as my appt is on Monday. Also the swelling only a little painful is quite depressing.

I just hope it is not the start of problems with lymphodema
As I know this can start at any time following removal of lymph nodes. to date Ive been lucky and had no problems.

any thoughts or similar experiences or advice would be appreciated. ie how do you reduce affects of swelling etc. questions to ask my doctor

thank you and best regards
