you wont believe what i did!!

yesterday, i went to the local Subway to get my hubby a sub to take to work. As i came out, i stepped off the curb and my left knee (that i hurt at work 2+ years ago) gave out on me and i went flat to the blacktop!!
I somehow must have turned my right foot some crazy way when i went down, because i could hardly walk on it after that. I decided to go ahead to work hoping maybe it would straighten out a bit if i walked on it. Well, after about an hour, i ended up leaving and going to Urgent Care!! They x-rayed me (the tech got a laugh when he asked if there was any possibility of me being preggo and i answered "thats not physically possible anymore" and he looked at me strange. I said i had a hyster in Feb. and he laughed and said "welll i guess unless you are carrying it in your pocket!")
I am wrapped and on crutches.
Let me tell you, this pain is worse than my Hyster pain ever was.
This is not the start of a good week!!

Oh my goodness! At least your hyster had been a few months instead of it being recent! I hope your pain eases up soon! And hopefully your week will be a good one!

LOL....I bet the technician thought you were crazy at first when you said that! MEN!

you wont believe what i did!!

I've had three knee surgeries and they were by far more painful than the hyster. Recovery...well, I didn't have physical therapy for the hyster either.

Be careful, those curbs will getcha every time!
